Ortho Global Health Holistic Development Body
- Ortho: Greek prefix meaning “straight,” “upright,” “right,” or “correct”. It may refer in medecine to orthopedic, orthodontics and dento facial orthopedics in our field.
- Global: involves the entire body organs, in medicine it takes into account the connection between each body parts.
- Health: is the level of function efficiency of living organism (body), WHO (World Health Organisation) defined it as “a complete state of physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
- Holistic: The comprehension of the body parts as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a disease.
- Development: From french “développer”, now has the meaning of the process in which someone or something grows or changes and becomes more advanced, elaborate and mature.
- Body: the human body, includes the entire structure of a human organism.
