Tongue and nose breathing are natural orthodontic appliances, we will teach you how to use them.

Orthodontics

Practice

The tooth, teeth, tongue, lips, cheeks, maxillary bone, mandible bone, hyoid bone (miracle bone), the different muscles, the facial nerve and the trigeminal nerve that constitute the buccal cavity are in a direct relation to posturology and osteopathy.

The treatment of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pains and disorders, dental occlusion disorders, migraines, bruxism, and sleep apnea is done with a close collaboration with the osteopath, the posturologist, the orthodontist, the E.N.T, the pediatrician and the physiotherapist.

Knowing and having the know-how to adequately do better with our mother nature.

Orthodontists

The mechanists orthodontists: discrepancies are at the origin of the dysfunctions. The function follows the driven form; therefore we have to use the mechanical forces to correct the discrepancies simultaneously. Consequently, the correction will take place.

One should know that all what the braces do is acting on the teeth and align the teeth only. If you want to correct a mandibular maxillary anteroposterior lag, backwards or forwards you need orthodontic accessories such as elastic bands.

If we want to correct an excess or lack in a vertical dimension, for example, in a case of an openbite we use elastic bands and in a case of a deepbite we use a bite plan or “turbo”.

The braces are only used for the purpose of aligning the teeth.

Pulling on the teeth with elastic bands, using heavy forces and torques will consequently affect the crane, the temporomandibular joint and the whole child’s body especially with the extraction of the four premolars. We are far from saying that braces are not needed, so the indication of the braces should be well studied and only suggested (recommended) to align the teeth and for a very short time.

Less time spent wearing braces, fewer problems for the human body in the future!
